When I'm creating something, I always make sure that both design and usability are considered along every step of the process. As someone with a lengthy background in math & sciences, I have the tools to analyze and meticulously plan the structures that make up the base for whatever content I am producing. While the foundation is being set, I look ahead for how the pretty pictures and smooth animations can meld on top. Through this system, whatever I'm making is guaranteed to have a much longer lifespan, while still looking great.
I put a lot of passion and consideration into what I create, knowing that it'll be used by myriad people for years to come. Need something made that'll stands the test of time, while also standing apart from the rest? I'm the one to talk to.
"When you hit the point of no return, that's the moment it truly becomes a journey."
Sep 2015 - May 2019
Through my time at the University of Denver, I honed my passions for programming and mathematical theory, all while meeting a wide variety of awe-inspiring individuals. I also had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Akita, Japan at Akita International University.
May 2018 - Mar 2020
During my Junior year of university, I founded an independent start-up with my fellow Computer Science students and friends. The start-up, Spotpost, was a web-based digital bulletin board service placed in communities that wanted easy and convenient ways to publish flyers and interact with their consumers more efficiently.
As the Chief Content Officer, I developed and designed much of the application's front-end, as well as outlined front-end product specifications for other developers' reference. As one of the founders, I also guided our team through software development practices (i.e. Agile Scrum methodology). Additionally, I managed finances/runway, oversaw the raising of capital, and interviewed, hired, and on-boarded student interns.
Apr 2020 - Present
After graduating from university and parting from Spotpost, I began an independent venture of contract work in the form of web design. I single-handely design, build, and maintain custom websites for clients using Webflow, a no-code website-building canvas (the same platform used to build this site!).
For each client, I meet with them and their teams to assess what goals they have for the project, what their budget is, and what custom content they need to go along with it. I handle all design composition (color, illustration, sourcing images, typography, and branding) and content outlining (general structure, navigation/flow, CTA objectives and realization). Additionally, I create digital art & graphics (logos, infographics, photo editing, icons, etc.) for clients without pre-existing branding portfolios.
Present - ???
Though I've enjoyed my time as an independent contractor, I am currently looking for new job hiring opportunities in the form of full-time employment as a project manager, developer, designer, or similar role.
Please reach out if you are currently seeking a passionate designer & developer looking to make something awesome with a talented group of individuals.
With a focus on User Experience, each and every one of my projects emphasizes usability while still looking great!
Whether it's a full-code or no-code solution, everything I create - from websites to native applications - is built with the emphasis of meeting each clients' needs.
Through various graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Figma, I have created and edited thousands of pieces of content to be displayed across various mediums, most commonly on my client's future websites.
I have worked alongside amazing teams, met with dozens of clients, and led teams of passionate individuals. No matter what, my main goal is to create an environment where everyone's goals can be met.
